多数のユーザが使える超高速無線通信システムを実現するため、周波数が60GHz近傍の飛ばないミリ波とそれを飛ばすためのファイバ無線技術を用いたシステム構想を紹介する。さらに実現の鍵となる低コスト化技術についても触れる。
A system concept of ultra-high speed wireless communication using millimeter-wave at around 60GHz and radio on fiber technologies are introduced. Cost reduction techniques also are explained, which will be the key for the wide deployment of the system.
