人を視ることは、人の振る舞いを知り、さらにはその興味・意図・体験を理解することにつながります。我々は、コンピュータに眼（視覚）を持たせることで、人（ユーザ）の行動をより深く理解できるシステムを構築することを目指して研究を進めています。ここでは、視覚を持つ多数のコンピュータが協調して効率よく人の動作を検出する手法について紹介します。
Looking at a person leads to knowing his/her behavior and understanding their
interest, intention and experience. We are investigating a computer vision algorithm
that enables computer systems to understand human behavior. In this article, we
introduce a human motion detection method based on collaboratively working multiple
vision systems.
