ネットワークを介したマルチメディアアプリケーションを対象に、限りあるネットワークならびに計算機資源を有効に利用し、アプリケーションのサービス品質の向上を目指した研究を行っています。ここではマルチエージェントの交渉による品質決定方式と、動的に変動する実行環境に適応したタスクスケジューリングのメカニズムに関する研究を紹介します。
For distributed multimedia applications, it is important to enhance the quality
of service (QoS) of the applications under constraint of network and terminal
resource limitation. In this manuscript, we present two mechanisms developed
for the QoS enhancement. One is a mechanism to determine the QoS by multi-agent
negotiations, and the other is a task scheduling mechanism which is adaptable
for dynamically changing environments.
