視て動く、動いて視る：能動的視覚認識の研究

カメラから得られる視覚情報が不足しているときに、必要な情報をカメラを動かすことによって獲得する方法を能動視覚といいます。能動視覚の方法を採り入れることにより、従来難しかったことを、簡単に、速く、正確に実現することが可能になります。棒を筒に挿入するというタスクを例にとり、ロボットとカメラを使った能動視覚システムの解析と実装を行いました。
When visual infomation obtained from a camera is not sufficient to accomplish
a given task, the caemra has to be moved such that required information is obtained.
This method is called active vision. Using active vision, the system can accomplish
the task easier, faster and more accurately. Peg-in-hole task system has been
implemented and analysed as an experiment.
