Abstract:This report describes a multilingual application called Boardedit designed for Natural Language Processing, and more precisely for the data preparation of some
linguistic applications. Boardedit is a board editor. A board is the pair constituted
by a text and its linguistic structure, generally a tree. Correspondences, which are
an original feature of boards, are links between the linguistic tree and the sentence.
In order to edit a board and build treebanks, Boardedit proposes simple and fast
editing facilities, on texts, as well as on trees. It also integrates some searching methods,
as well as analysis by analogy.
