Abstract:This report concerns dialogue topics and the usefulness of topic information in language modelling for speech recognition. I describe a linguistically motivated topic-model and the Predict-
Support algorithm to recognize topics in task-oriented dialogues, and also report results of the
accuracy of the algorithm.
