Abstract:With all its different modules, CHATR is an extremely big system. If
the output doesn't sound quite right, there are always several ways
of improvement. As an example of what can be achieved within
eight weeks, this technical report describes how to improve the German voice of CHATR, focussing on the database, the lexicon and the
prosody prediction.
