Distributions Under Repeated Trials with
Nonlinear Utilities or Catastrophic Outcomes
Abstract:Previous researchers have indicated that it is not necessary to use full second-
order probability distributions when making decisions: the first-order equivalent
probability is sufficient. This paper shows that, under certain conditions, this is
incorrect.
