Screening Services Simulation
Abstract:During my six months of stay in ATR, my internship went through several steps, all of them very interesting. I begun by studying the STR, which was all new to me, and I realize now, how free I was to express my ideas, and to carry on getting more and more involved in those in which I believed most. NTT's system was introduced as a second step, and in fact my purpose was to find out a complete new specification of STR that could enhance this language and make it fit with those new services that are screening services.
The permanent confrontations between the requirements and the constraints of the Software department allowed me to carry on challenging all the problems, one after the other, taking nothing for granted and always trying to improve the solutions.
As a result, and starting from an instinctive and blurred idea of screening variables, we were lead to a whole structured simulator. I guess this is a good engineer experience, full of contact with research field and researchers.
