The generation module of ASURA creates syntactic structures from a given semantic feature structure by referring to linguistic knowledge, which is represented as a set of trees with feature structures (like feature-structure-based tree-adjoining grammars). This report introduces the basic concept of the module and gives the syntax of the linguistic knowledge used. It also describes how to install and use the module.
